PlanSnapper is a browser-based floor plan measurement tool. We collect as little data as possible to make it work. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.
When you purchase access through Polar.sh, your email address is passed to us to create your account and verify your access tier. We use it only for authentication and transactional communication (receipts, access confirmation).
When you upload a floor plan to the tool, it is processed entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. It is never sent to our servers unless you explicitly use the "Save Project" feature, in which case an image file is stored in our Supabase storage bucket to enable project recovery. You can delete saved projects at any time from your account.
If you save a project, we store the associated polygon coordinates, scale values, and square footage results in our database. This data is linked to your account and is only accessible to you.
We do not currently use analytics software or track your activity within the tool. Basic server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) are retained by our hosting provider (Vercel) for infrastructure and security purposes.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers listed above.
Your account and associated data are retained as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email hello@plansnapper.com. We will process the request within 7 days.
