Can I Save or Export My PlanSnapper Measurements?

Yes. PlanSnapper has a Save Project feature that stores your floor plan image, traced perimeter, scale, and results to your account. You can also export a one-page PDF report or take a screenshot for quick sharing.

Save Project (cloud storage)

Click Save Project in the tool sidebar to store your current work to your account. PlanSnapper saves:

Saved projects are accessible from My Projects in the tool navigation. They restore exactly where you left off — same image, same polygon, same scale. Projects are tied to your account, not your device, so you can open them from any browser.

Export as PDF

Click Export as PDF to generate a one-page measurement report. The report includes the property address, calculated square footage, and the floor plan image with the polygon overlay. It opens in a new tab and triggers your system print dialog — choose "Save as PDF" to export the file.

This is the most useful format for including in an appraisal workfile, sending to a client, or archiving the result alongside a job.

Screenshot

For a quick capture, a screenshot of the results panel works fine. The square footage total, perimeter, and individual wall lengths are all shown in the sidebar once calculated.

Privacy note

By default, your floor plan image is processed in your browser and is not sent to any server. It is only uploaded when you explicitly click Save Project. You can delete saved projects from your account at any time.
